First, Paige was awesome!!!, three exclamation points well deserved. It was a long hot day and she stopped by to chat with out daughter that just made a huge difference. The food was very delicious, I had the burger that seemed like it would have a lot of distinct flavors that may over power each other, bit they blended perfectly. The pulled pork version was equally great, but think I preferred the burger. My wife had the fish and chips which was light and refreshing. We had a small issue with some Flies since the doors were open, but we all live some malt vinegar on the awesome fries and the flies hated that! Worth the stop.
My wife and I had an amazing dinner here. Thomas was our waiter and he was awesome. We would go back for sure.
What a super cute pub! It is entirely dog themed, down to serving us complimentary popcorn in (clean) dog bowls. The fish and chips were great, and the cookie skillet was the perfect dessert to top off the meal
Stopped in for dinner with the wife, no reservation. Not busy but was a bitterly cold night so not many people out for dinner. Great service. Great atmosphere. Very good food. Irish coffee hit the spot. I’ll be back.
Our first visit to this gem. It was my son's anniversary. Our server Margarita was awesome. I had the grilled romaine salad and charred Brussels sprouts. My DIL had the flank steak, and my son had the lobster ravioli. The reese's cookie skillet was a delicious ending!
We had a wonderful dinner at The Hound’s Tale during our trip to Williamsburg. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and fun — perfect for families! Our daughter especially loved the kid-friendly menu and the playful dog-themed decor. We truly enjoyed everything from start to finish. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Williamsburg — we’ll definitely come back next time!
We came in with our 5 month old and had a great dinner. The lamb chops were incredible and the bison tenderloin was so tender and moist I could cut it with a butter knife. We had wanted dessert but a surprise bagpipe band came in and started playing and scared our 5 month old to tears. Before I realized what was going to happen, a gentleman from the kitchen gave us fair warning. Our waitress was nothing less than impressive as she grabbed our stroller and helped us out the back. Overall a great establishment and the staff were phenomenal. Very family and pet friendly too! We'll definitely be returning in the near future.
Perfect for a quiet cocktail and dinner. Our server, Destiny, was super friendly and very helpful. Both of us decided to get the Bison Tenderloin dinner and were not disappointed. We may need tp go back to try the creme brulee.
